Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the https://archeeventco.com.au/ website (the “Service”) operated by Arche Event Co. Pty. Ltd. (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

POSTPONEMENT OF EVENT

Arche Event Co. will permit a change of date to your event under the condition that the future event is within 6 months of the original date. A revised date will be confirmed in writing via email by the Arche Event Co. team and your client details form will be updated accordingly. 

All paid funds will be transferred to the new date if the postonement request has been received by email and acknowledged by the Arche Event Co. team 7 DAYS or more of the original event date. If the event postponement request is received within 7 DAYS of the original event date, 50% deposit will be retained and a new deposit request will be invoiced to secure the new date. Any additional funds paid will be transferred to the new date. 

In the circumstance where the client and Arche Event Co. cannot secure a suitable postponement date and the request has been received and acknowledged by the Arche Event Co. team 14 DAYS or more of the original event date then the event will be cancelled and 100% of the funds paid thus far will be refunded to the payee. If the event needs to be cancelled due to the above circumstance and the request is received within 14 DAYS of the original event date then the event will be cancelled and 50% deposit will be retained and any additional funds will be refunded to the payee. 

HIRE AND DAMAGES

The client, as specified on the client details form, is responsible for the hire goods and equipment commencing from the commencement date and time specified on the invoice provided by the Arche Event Co. team and will continue for the time specified in the invoice.

The client is liable for any damage caused by weather events that are out of the control of the client and Arche Event Co. The client will not use the hire equipment at locations or purposes different to the equipment’s general designated purpose and specific suitability (indoor vs. outdoor use) unless approved by the Arche Event Co. team. If damaged occurs to any of the hired equipment the client is responsible to cover the cost to replace the item.

The client will not remove the hire equipment of any part thereof from the situation and position of its installation without consent from the Arche Event Co. team. 

Arche Event Co. reserves the right to use photographs and videos taken of the hire equipment for promotional material.

CANCELLATION OF EVENT

In the circumstance of the event being cancelled for any reason, written notice must be received by email and acknowledged by the Arche Event Co. team 14 DAYS or more of the event date to receive 100% refund of funds paid towards booking thus far. If the event is cancelled within 14 DAYS of the event date, the 50% deposit will be retained and any additional payments will be refunded back to the payee. Alternatively, a date postponement will be offered. 

CONDITIONS OF HIRE

  1. The client must pay the full balance of the booking invoice, including delivery fees, no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event date. Arche Event Co. reserves the right to cancel any bookings if the full payment of the invoice has not been paid in accordance with these terms. 
  2. Arche Event Co. organises deliver, set up and pack down for all event styling and backdrop equipment. We liaise with the venues to book in appropriate bump in and pack down times around your event. It is ultimately up to the client to ensure there is adequate space for the booked hire equipment and Arche Event Co. will accept no responsibility if hte venue cannot accommodate our equipment. 
  3. Arche Event Co. holds current and up to date public liability insurance. A certificate of currency can be obtained upon request if required for a venue. Arche Event Co, provides appropriate tie-down equipment for our backdrops however, it is the client responsibility to ensure all steps are taken to avoid injuries. 
  4. Arche Event Co. shall not be liable for any injury or damage resulting from the use of the equipment by the client or any other person. The client shall indemnify and hold harmless Arche Event Co. against any and all claims, losses, damages, expenses and costs (including legal fees) arising from or in connection with the clients use of the equipment. 
  5. The client is responsible for obtaining appropriate council approvals where applicable. Refunds will not be provided if set up is denied on the day. 

Please not that we accept that you have acknowledged and agreed to these hire terms and conditions on receipt of your booking deposit.
